Hemadri Cements Ltd., located in Andhra Pradesh's Jaggayyapet. The plant was put into operation in March 1985.
The manufactured cements surpass all of the Bureau of Indian Standards (B.I.S) and Research & Consultancy Directorate's stringent quality Control parameters.
Both Hemadri 43 Grade and Hemadri Gold 53 Grade O.P.C are produced with Vedadri Lime Stone, which is widely regarded as one of the finest lime stones in the nation. The resulting cement has greater compressive strength, consistency, and chemical properties than any other brand currently on the market.
Selective mining from captive mines guarantees that only the highest-quality limestone (Ca0 content of 48 to 53 percent) is utilised. This ensures that both CS and CS2 are maintained at a high percentage and optimal proportion, so that Hemadri Cement's final compressive strength consistently exceeds that of all other brands on the market.
The use of high-grade coal in the burning of the calcareous and argillaceous raw materials employed in the production of Hemadri Cement is another factor contributing to the cement's high quality. This low-ash coal (only 2.4% ash) reduces coal ash contamination of cement and increases its compressive strength. Due to its consistently high CS and CS2 content, Hemadri Cement develops an exceptional load bearing capacity very quickly. Its 1,3,7 and 28-day strengths are superior to those of all other brands in its category."
