Hira Ferro Alloys Ltd. (HFAL), a certified ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 company, is a venture of The Hira Group of Industries, a primesteel manufacturing group. HFAL has distinguished itself as a producer of Ferro Alloys, Power, Briquettes, and Fly Ash Bricks. It contributes actively to the production of manganese-based ferroalloys in modern steel production and refining. It is listed on the BSE, Indore, Delhi, and Chennai stock exchanges in India and was one of the first companies to manufacture Ferroalloys in the country.
It was established in 1990 with a capacity of 5.0 MVA (SAF) to produce SiMn equivalent to 7200TPA. Its Installed Capacity is 26.6 MVA, which is equivalent to 61,500 TPA of FeMn, and its power generation capacity is 20MW for thermal, 8.5MW for the biomass base plant, and 1.5MW for windmill energy, which accounts for one-third of the green energy generated. The company has begun the installation and expansion of wind turbine power generation units throughout the Indian states. It has cultivated a clientele of nationally renowned brands.
