In 1946, the estates of Crofton, Deepdale (purchased in 1938), Kotada (purchased in partnership with UNITEA in 1943), Welbeck (purchased in 1946, which was originally purchased in 1921) and later Cairnhill were combined to form Stanes Amalgamated Estates Ltd. (commonly known among tea houses as SAE) (bought in 1951). So, under SAE, there are two sizable estates with factories, called as Kotada Estate and Welbeck Estate. Three people serve as directors for Stanes Amalgamated Estates Limited: Anantharamakrishnan Krishnamoorthy, Prem Wallia Sagar, and others.
