Leaf springs are produced by industry leaders in laminated leaf springs and spring steel technology under the well-known brand name CANARA SPRINGS for all types of heavy and light commercial vehicles, as well as for some passenger cars.
The late Mr. Vaman Srinivas Kudva, who was the general manager of Canara Public Conveyance Limited, a public transportation firm, founded the corporation in 1943. The business is spread out across 23 acres of land, and its manufacturing facility is 2,80,000 square feet in size. Additionally, the company includes a logistic division to expedite supply and meet consumer demands on time. In the city of Mangalore, The Canara Workshops Limited contains both its administrative headquarters and a manufacturing facility.
